The Abkhazi Garden is an exquisite heritage home and garden located in Victoria, British Columbia, a city known for its wonderful gardens. The Prince and Princess Abkhazi began creating their garden in 1946, the year they married and settled in Victoria, after living separate lives touched by privilege and tragedy. They immediately began to develop their one-acre property, and continued to maintain and improve the garden throughout their lives together.
Tradition
Have your ceremony at the Summer House in The Garden and toast the happy couple on the terrace with champagne. Imagine a string quartet creating a quiet ambience while your guests mingle as your photographer preserves special moments.
The Teahouse is a beautiful room, accommodating up to 32 guests, clad in Baltic White Birch glowing warmly as your guests seat themselves at white linen tables to await a stunning Tea Service. In winter, a toasty fire burns cozily in the fireplace. The intimate setting allows for more personalization and our servers are attentive and sincere.
The Food
Our Royal Abkhazi High Tea is the perfect meal for a Wedding celebration. We are happy to customize dishes to suit your dietary requirements. We strive to be an allergy-aware facility and we are peanut-free.
Wedding Rehearsal
Practice makes perfect and your wedding day should not be anything less than perfect. We will work closely with you to ensure that all details are in place. Bring your family and friends to The Garden the day before and walk through your dream day. The Teahouse offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for this occasion.
